• Rinse using cold water as soon as possible to remove any discharge.

• Lather any natural laundry detergent.

• Soak in cold water for a minimum of 6 hours to overnight and Up to 48 hours if required, changing the water daily.
• Hand wash or machine wash.

• Dry inside or outside, in the sun where possible.

• You do not have to wash or rinse the pads immediately after changing. It is recommended that you wash and soak them within 12hrs after use. This means all you simply have to do after a change is fold the pad, pop it in a zipper bag, wet bag or pouch and deal with it later.

Caring for your pads

• Soak: Soak in cold water for at least 30 minutes. Cold water is essential for removing blood.
• Rinse: Rinse in cold water until it runs clear.
• Wash: Wash with detergent, by hand or in the washing machine along with other clothes.
• Dry: Dry in direct sunlight if possible. The sun helps prevent staining and is a natural sanitiser.

Using your pads

• Adjust the pad in place.
• Fold the pad wings around your underwear.
• Clip the buttons in place.
