How to use the reusable period pads?

When using a reusable period pad, you will just need to position the pad in your underwear and use the snap buttons to hold it in place. It is leak-proof and absorbent so you don’t have to worry about period leaks. Like using a disposable pad, you have to change the reusable pad if you feel that the whole surface area is already filled with blood, especially when your flow is extra heavy.

How to wash and take care of the reusable period pads?

◦ Soak the used pads in cold water first. It is recommended to use cold water to prevent staining. Leave for at least 30 minutes.

 

◦ Rinse until the (cold) water runs clear after the soaking process. This way, most of the blood will be cleaned out from the fabric.

 

◦ Wash with gentle soap. This will further help remove residues. You can wash your pad by hand, or in the washing machine along with your clothes.

 

◦ Dry in direct sunlight (if possible). The heat from the sun can help prevent staining and is a natural sanitizer.
